Terry Gillett

Terry

Terry Gillett is an electronics and communications engineer based in
Brisbane, Australia. He holds a Master of Engineering Science degree from
Qld Uni and has worked for many years in research and development roles in
Telco, Finance and University based organisations.
He is a current contributor to the VillageTelco project and has been
involved in the development of the VT MP02 devices and the SECN, VT-RACHEL
(digital library) and VT-MoToLi (literacy) software used on these
and otherdevices.
Terry supports several NGOs operating in SE Asia and the Pacific regions
providing community and school based networks and micro-servers, and a
program of refurbished Linux based laptops for schools in remote and rural
areas.
